Key Soggy Box Rules
- Single “stuck” match box: Game play passes to next player in the rotation.
- Two Stuck Boxes (regular): Reverse. The overall rotation of the game reverses; each box passes to the next players.
- Upright Box: Skip. Game play skips next player; passes to following player. Also known as the “Mary Lou Retton.”
- Two Upright Boxes: Known by at least one person as the “Twin Towers”; while there's some debate about the particulars of this rule, the consensus is that it means the two players swap seats and reverse play.
- Two leaning boxes: Known by some as the “Lean two.” Every player except the two throwing players drinks. Play resets, with same players throwing.
- Box tossed in Beer: Finish ½ beer; can’t throw until ½ beer is finished.
- Double boxes in Beer: Known by some as the “Double Dip”; Rotate the two players; continue playing from new position, same rotation.
- Swan box (regular): A double or nothing play. Landing the Swan means you're saved from drinking ½ beer. Missing the Swan means that your ½ beer penalty becomes a full beer.
- Swan box (upright): Not only is player saved from drinking penalty beer, but the entire table drinks one full beer (except thrower).
